Wabi-Sabi Zine
Connecting TSPTR to a new audience using bespoke zine.
The idea for the zine came from my dad's sunglasses, which I stopped wearing because the gold paint was chipped, revealing a shiny silver surface.
This made me think of Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, which celebrates imperfections. The zine explores the concept of wabi-sabi, finding beauty in imperfection, and features mixed collages of random surfaces around Nottingham.
Through this zine, TSPTR connects with a new audience by celebrating the beauty of the imperfect and highlighting the unique charm of everyday life in the city.
